Job summary

DN Colleges is seeking a Careers Advisor to support students, apprentices and prospective learners with impartial guidance on courses and progression routes. The role involves one-to-one interviews, group sessions, tasters and enrolment activities across college campuses, schools and communities.

You will promote careers education, maintain records, deliver presentations and participate in school engagement events, industry days and mock interviews.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification or Diploma in Careers Guidance, or currently working towards Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification.
• Experience in a careers guidance, careers education or information and advice role.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between campuses and locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance to learners.
• Conduct one-to-one careers guidance interviews to support progression planning.
• Advise learners on courses, progression routes and career opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in student records systems.
• Deliver presentations, group sessions and careers-related activities.
• Attend school engagement events, including industry days and mock interviews.
