Job summary

Priestley College is seeking an Apprentice Careers Advisor & Work Placement Co-ordinator to join our careers team. This is a full-time post, 37 hours per week, term-time (39 weeks) plus 3 weeks in college closure time, 42 weeks in total.

You will coordinate work experience, T Level industry placements and other work-related learning, support UCAS, apprenticeships and progression, and help organise careers events and employer talks.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent.
• Understanding of FE sector and sixth-form colleges, T-Levels, and employer-led learning.
• Knowledge of CEIAG frameworks, Gatsby Benchmarks, LMI and progression pathways.
• Interest in CEIAG and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work experience, T Level placements and other work-related learning.
• Support UCAS, apprenticeship, employment and progression processes, including destination tracking.
• Help organise careers events, employer talks, open days, transition activities and careers fairs.
