Job summary

University Centre West Anglia is seeking two Work Placement & Careers Coordinators to support students across King’s Lynn. You will source meaningful placements, provide careers guidance and help learners progress to employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

You will build strong employer relationships, visit students on placement, and collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure high-quality industry experiences.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping young people develop skills and confidence for workplace success.
• Experience supporting careers education or work placement activity is desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of learners, employers and staff.
• Comfortable visiting students on placement and liaising with local employers.

Responsibilities

• Source meaningful work placements with local employers and curriculum teams.
• Provide careers support to learners and help them plan next steps (employment, apprenticeships, higher education).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and curriculum areas.
• Support careers education initiatives and ensure students access high-quality industry experiences.
