Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University is seeking an experienced Careers & Employability Consultant to join the Student Futures team. You will partner with LJMU Schools, design and deliver activities that embed employability within teaching and learning, and lead a delivery team.

Work with academic colleagues and external partners to develop programmes that support diverse students and graduates in their career journeys, using data to measure impact and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading or facilitating course design that progresses employability & career confidence.
• Track record of delivering engaging & impactful group sessions.
• Inspirational leadership with coaching and mentoring ability.
• Data-driven use of feedback and evaluation to drive results.
• Collaborative, partnership-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sessions in and beyond the curriculum, with impact across the student body.
• Provide leadership to an associated delivery team and guide colleagues.
• Co-develop targeted programmes with students from diverse backgrounds.
