Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University seeks an experienced Careers & Employability Consultant to join the Student Futures team. You will shape and deliver activities that embed careers and employability at the heart of teaching and learning, working with academic colleagues and leading a delivery team.

You will co-develop targeted programmes with students from diverse backgrounds and use data and feedback to drive impactful results. An inclusive, collaborative approach is essential.

• Track record delivering engaging and impactful group sessions.
• Inspirational leadership with ability to coach, motivate and guide others.

Liverpool John Moores University is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Careers & Employability Consultant to join our award-winning Student Futures team.

Student Futures is LJMU's Careers, Employability and Start-Up team. As a strategic partner across the University, we deliver innovative expertise, high-impact support and opportunities that empower students and graduates to thrive in their future careers. Working collaboratively with academic teams and external partners, we help transform potential into lasting success.

As one of Student Futures' business partners to LJMU Schools, you will work with academic colleagues - shaping and delivering activity that embeds careers & employability at the heart of teaching & learning. As well as directly delivering sessions in and beyond the curriculum, you will provide leadership to an associated delivery team. Together, you and your team will also co-develop targeted programmes with students from diverse backgrounds.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
