Qualifications

• Experience signposting young people to further opportunities (education, teaching or careers)
• Experience planning and delivering educational sessions with young people and vulnerable adults
• Experience collecting and analysing data
• Level1 in Safeguarding Young People
• Understanding inclusive youth work practices and mentoring in a youth context
• Good knowledge of local industry
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; good organisational abilities
• Competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; proficient with social media

Responsibilities

• Work with participants 1–to–1 to provide tailored career guidance.
• Deliver employability programmes to upskill young people and raise aspirations.
• Create curriculum and collaborate with external partners to achieve KPIs.
• Identify and recruit young people with Foundation teams.
• Manage stakeholders, including recruitment, vetting and training of mentors.
• Oversee programme logistics: venues, transport, food, accommodation.
• Ensure monitoring and evaluation frameworks capture data per procedures.
• Facilitate work‑experience placements for participants and employers.
• Manage risk to safeguard young people and staff.
• Carry out quality assurance to ensure delivery of a world‑class programme.
• Incorporate safeguarding throughout all work.
