Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust seeks a proactive Careers Coordinator to support students with guidance and preparation for higher education and employment. The role involves one-to-one coaching, group sessions and building links with universities, professional associations and businesses.

The successful candidate will typically hold a degree and a Level 6 Diploma in Career Information and Advice and join a collaborative team dedicated to outstanding student development and progression.

Qualifications

  • Excellent one-to-one guidance and group work skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver Careers guidance to students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional bodies and employers.
  • Plan and run group guidance sessions and individual coaching.
  • Support curriculum across the school to prepare students for the 21st century.

The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, aware of the changing needs of the workplace and keen to ensure that we fully prepare our students for the demands of the 21st century. The ability to work with young adults of all abilities is essential and you must have excellent one-to-one guidance and group work skills. You must be proactive in forging wide links with universities, professional associations, and businesses.

The ideal candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and possess a Level 6 Diploma in Career Information and Advice. We welcome applications from highly motivated and experienced individual with the vision and ability to commit towards the team.
