Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust's Blaise High School Resource Base is seeking a compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join a dedicated team. With small class sizes, you will help deliver personalised learning, support students with barriers, and promote independence and wellbeing.

You will need GCSE English and Maths, and experience supporting SEN learners in a classroom. Paediatric First Aid is desirable, and a passion for making a real difference is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 9-4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths or qualification/experience relevant to the role.
• Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
• Experience of supporting SEN Students in a classroom setting
• Knowledge of SEN

Responsibilities

• Support SEN students in the classroom alongside teaching staff.
• Assist with delivering personalised learning and behavioural support.
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils.

Our Resource Base is at the heart of the values and ethos of Blaise High School. It provides a specialist and nurturing environment for some of our most vulnerable students, offering the high level of support they need to thrive, develop their independence and have equality of opportunity in life.
