Job summary

Shaw Trust in Havering, East London, is recruiting for a multi-purpose Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) role supporting young people in schools, NEET cohorts and those at risk.

You will deliver school-based CIAG, provide targeted support to raise aspirations and help learners progress into sustainable education, training or employment, while benefiting from generous leave, pension and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Deliver high-quality Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to young people.
  • This multi-purpose role combines CIAG in schools with targeted support for vulnerable learners.
  • Proactive in helping students explore options and progress into learning, training or work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based CIAG to students in Havering and surrounding areas.
  • Support vulnerable young people to raise aspirations and achieve sustainable progression.
  • Collaborate with education partners to improve opportunities for learners.

Purpose

To provide high-quality Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to young people in secondary schools, colleges, and those who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. This multi-purpose role combines school-based Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) with targeted support for vulnerable young people, helping them to explore options, raise aspirations, and progress into sustainable learning, training, or employment.

You will be based in Havering, East London
