Job summary

Davenant Foundation School in Loughton is seeking a part-time Careers Advisor to organise and deliver careers guidance interviews alongside the progression and work experience co-ordinator. This is a one-day-a-week post during term time, with inset days, parents' evenings and two days in the summer holidays.

You will hold a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification and possess strong ICT skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).

Qualifications

• Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification required.
• 5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) required.
• Experience working with young people and giving career guidance.
• Experience with external service providers and communicating with parents.

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver careers guidance interviews with the progression and work experience co-ordinator.
• Support the Careers Leader.
• Provide enriching careers opportunities for pupils.
• Give independent careers advice to staff, pupils and parents.
