Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an Employment Solicitor to develop their career within an established and growing team. You will advise both employers and employees on a broad range of employment matters, building lasting client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice.

You’ll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, draft and review employment contracts and policies, and support senior colleagues on tribunal matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in employment law.
• Sound technical skills and good judgement in advising clients.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and manage matters to appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancy, discrimination, and absence management.
• Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to completion.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, workplace policies, settlement agreements and other employment documentation.
• Supporting senior colleagues on employment tribunal claims, including case preparation and witness statements.
• Providing practical, commercially focused advice on day-to-day HR and employee relations issues.
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development through networking and updates.
