Job summary

Reed in Partnership is hiring an Employment Adviser to work with long-term unemployed jobseekers, delivering tailored guidance, CVs, interview prep and skills training. You will support participants, engage employers, and promote the Restart Scheme within the community.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and meeting KPIs, with pro-rata flexibility for part-time work and a strong commitment to helping people fulfil their potential.

Qualifications

• Coaching/mentoring experience or equivalent activities.
• Experience in customer facing environments.
• Experience in fast paced, KPI-driven roles.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership by meeting with a caseload of long-term unemployed jobseekers and create tailored plans.
• Provide one-to-one CV writing, interview prep and skills sessions.
• Meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with participants to build confidence to gain sustained work.
• Engage local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Signpost participants to internal and external support services.
• Promote the Restart Scheme within the community.
