Job summary

Sovereign & Bale is seeking an Employment Coach in Aylesbury to support participants who have been out of work for at least six months. You will manage your own caseload, conduct diagnostic assessments, and develop action plans to help individuals move toward sustainable employment.

You will provide tailored one-to-one support, deliver job-search assistance, and coordinate industry-specific training, while working with employer engagement teams to identify opportunities and keep participants

Qualifications

Experience in welfare-to-work or similar target-driven environment.
Ability to manage a busy caseload and work toward targets.
Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with participants to identify and overcome barriers to employment.
Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish job readiness.
Develop action plans with steps toward sustainable employment.
Provide information and guidance on debt, mental health, and other barriers.
Assist with CVs, covering letters, and job-search activities.
Coordinate training and development based on participant needs.
Collaborate with employers and external support organisations to identify opportunities.
Prepare participants for interviews through coaching and mock interviews.
Ensure access to workshops on health, wellbeing, and transferable skills.
