Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd. is seeking an Employment Coach to manage caseloads and deliver one-to-one information, advice and guidance sessions aimed at helping customers secure sustainable employment in the Daventry area.

You will work with diverse client groups, prepare tailored job search materials, and maintain robust records to monitor progress against SMART targets; ensure safeguarding, data security and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Full NVQ Level 2 in customer service, business administration, accounting, or IT (essential)
• GCSE English Language and Mathematics (essential)
• Level 2 IT Qualification, such as ECDL (essential)
• Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance (desirable)
• IEP Induction Level 2 (desirable)
• IEP Employability Practice Level 3 (desirable)
• First Aid at Work (desirable)
• IOSH Health and Safety (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Manage a customer caseload to help customers realise their potential and move into sustainable employment
• Provide one-to-one information, advice and guidance sessions
• Prepare job search materials and differentiated products for customers
• Engage with local employers and understand the local labour market opportunities
• Signpost for pastoral support and learning programmes
• Coach customers and promote positive employment behaviours
• Maintain records and monitor progress with SMART targets
• Work with diverse customer groups including young people, adults, and those with additional needs
• Ensure data security and safeguarding policies are followed
• Support equality, health and safety, and quality policies
