Job summary

Seetec Group Ltd. in Lowestoft is recruiting an Employment Adviser to provide advice and support to help participants overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. You will manage a caseload, act as coach and mentor, and be the primary contact to build positive relationships.

The role requires a high level of customer service, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure. We offer a competitive salary of £26,500 to £29,545, 37 hours weekly, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical location.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment concepts.
• Fully IT literate, proficient with MS Office.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of the employability and recruitment industries.
• Experience delivering information, advice & guidance services.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed personal performance targets (KPI).
• Manage a caseload of referred customers and help overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Provide high standard customer service and support.
• Conduct assessments to understand customers' circumstances, ambitions and goals.
• Signpost to internal self-employment support where appropriate.
• Co-create personalised Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Provide tailored job-search and interview preparation support.
• Assist customers in mastering digital tools for guided self-service learning.
