Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Workers to support people in their own homes across Blackpool (FY4) and surrounding areas. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, with the ability to travel between clients.

We offer £13.45–£13.70 per hour, a £125 welcome bonus, paid mileage between care calls, weekly pay and flexible hours from 7am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Comprehensive training, support, and development are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Blackpool (FY4) area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• As a Home Care Worker, support people in their own homes while promoting independence and dignity.
• Provide personal care with respect and compassion and assist with daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation, nutrition and wellbeing checks.
• Carry out light household tasks to maintain a comfortable home.
• Build positive relationships with clients and work as part of a care team.
• Travel between clients' homes across the Blackpool community.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackpool community
