Job summary

ICare Group in Sefton is seeking a caring Home Care Assistant (Driver required) to support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent with dignity and safety across the local community. You’ll work flexible hours, drive between clients, and enjoy paid mileage, a welcome bonus and ongoing training, with full induction and career development opportunities.

Previous care experience isn’t required as training is provided, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle are

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to your own vehicle
• Be able to travel throughout Sefton
• Willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive, professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Travel between clients' homes across the local community

£13.45 - £13.70 per hour

£125 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)

Paid Mileage Between Care Calls

Flexible Hours (7am-10pm, Monday-Sunday)

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:
