Job summary

ICare Group in Halewood and Knowsley is seeking Home Care Assistants with a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. You will support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent with dignity and wellbeing.

We offer comprehensive training, paid mileage, and a welcoming team in a role that includes travel between clients’ homes across the local community. Flexible hours are available, including weekends, with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in care welcome but not essential.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout Halewood and Knowsley area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and compassion.
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans.

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
