Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Care Team Leader (Nights) to supervise a 36-hour week, comprising three 12-hour night shifts (8:00pm–8:00am). You will lead the night team, coordinate shifts, manage medications, and review care plans while fostering a compassionate, person-centred environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Care Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care throughout the night. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you'll:

• Lead and motivate the night care team, ensuring exceptional standards of care
• Coordinate the smooth running of each shift
• Administer and manage medications safely and accurately
• Complete and review care plans and assessments
• Support, mentor and develop colleagues
• Promote dignity, independence and choice for every resident
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies
• Respond confidently to changing resident needs and support families when required

We're looking for someone who leads with kindness, professionalism and confidence. Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience working within a residential or dementia care setting
• Previous experience supervising or leading a care team
• A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
• Medication administration experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
