Job summary

The Sidings, Accrington is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join Lifeways, supporting adults with learning disabilities and related needs. You will lead and develop a dedicated support team, oversee day-to-day operations, maintain care plans and promote independence and dignity for residents.

Hours are 37.5 per week with shifts including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. A DBS check is required; Lifeways does not offer sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or similar.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards).
• Passion for person-centred support with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the care team to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
• Maintain care plans and carry out risk assessments and reviews.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity for residents.
• Manage rotas and uphold service quality standards.
• Conduct supervisions and ongoing staff development.
• Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
• Lead by example to foster a positive team culture.
