Spire Homecare is seeking caring leaders to oversee teams delivering person-centred care across multiple locations. You will supervise carers, ensure high standards, and support service users with personalised care plans while promoting staff development and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes leadership, quality assurance, and ongoing training to maintain excellent care delivery. Applicants should have Level 3 Health & Social Care and proven care experience.

Qualifications

• Health and Social Care – Level 3 (Senior Care Worker)
• Proven experience in care
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for making a positive impact in the care industry

Responsabilités

• Hold regular supervisions – face to face, video call, Teams meet
• Complete weekly check-ins with shadowing carers
• Monitor team workload, wellbeing, concerns and questions
• Ensure carers are developing their skills and learning
• Identify additional training needs and refer to Training Department
• Advocate on behalf of carers and suggest improvements
• Report concerns to Registered Manager
• Be a first point of contact for carers with non-urgent issues
• Be a role model for best practice in the workplace
• Discuss feedback with carers
• Support new Care Workers with sign-off shifts and guidance/mentoring
