Job summary

Lifeways Harwich is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to lead a passionate team delivering person-centred care across our service in Harwich.

You will mentor support workers, oversee daily routines, conduct staff supervisions, and ensure high-quality care while maintaining accurate records using IT systems. If you're an experienced leader with NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care, Lifeways offers funded qualifications and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required.
• Experience leading care teams is desirable.
• Strong communication and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers.
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
• Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal goals.
• Conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development.

Care Team Leader – Harwich

Salary: £13.86 ph

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Shifts: 7:00am–2:30pm, 2:30pm–10:00pm (rota-based)

Your Role as a Care Team Leader

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Please note: You will be working on a rota basis, and shift patterns are assigned—you will not be able to select your own shifts.
