Job summary

Lifeways in Brighton is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to oversee a team delivering person-centred care in the local community. The role works alongside the Service Manager to lead and develop staff and ensure high-quality care across shifts.

Qualifications

NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required.
Experience as Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker is preferred.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers.
Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal goals.
Conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development.
Promoting best practices and safeguarding standards.
Communicating effectively with staff, the people we support, and external professionals.
Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems confidently.
