Job summary

Lifeways in Kent (Dartford) is seeking a Care Team Leader to supervise and develop a dedicated team delivering person-centred support. The role involves leading care workers, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring safeguarding standards are met within a rota-based schedule.

The successful candidate will have prior Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker experience and an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care, with opportunities for funded qualifications and career progression.

• Commitment to progression through training and development.

Care Team Leader – Kent - Dartford
Salary:£14.60 per hour
Hours:Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Shifts:7am–2.30pm, 2.30pm–10pm (rota-based)

Your Role as a Care Team Leader

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered
• Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal goals
• Conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development
• Promoting best practices and safeguarding standards
• Communicating effectively with staff, the people we support, and external professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems confidently

Please note:You will be working on a rota basis, and shift patterns are assigned—you will not be able to select your own shifts.
