Job summary

Lifeways in Worcester is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join Woodbury View, a four-bedroom bungalow supporting ladies with learning disabilities, autism or physical disabilities. You will help with daily routines, activities, and monitoring wellbeing in a warm, supportive environment.

The role offers full-time 37.5 hours or a zero-hour contract, with shifts from early to late, and on-the-job training to help you grow and make a real difference every day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant is ideal, but not essential.
• If you’re new to care and passionate about helping others live independently, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with daily routines such as cooking, personal care, and household tasks
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities like karaoke, shopping, and day trips
• Promoting independence and building confidence
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team

Salary: £13.30 per hour

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours or Sessional ( 0 Hour contract)

Shifts: 7:45am–2:45pm, 2:45pm–8:45pm, Long Day 7:45am–8:45pm

Driving Licence Required: Desirable

Your Role as a Support Worker

Your responsibilities will include:

Woodbury View is a welcoming, four-bedroom bungalow supporting ladies with complex learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or autism. It’s a vibrant, supportive environment where no two days are the same.
