Job summary

Lifeways Worcester is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist with daily routines, personal care, and household tasks at Woodbury View. You will help residents participate in hobbies and community activities, promoting independence and confidence.

We provide full training and support, regardless of prior care experience, and you’ll join a welcoming team dedicated to meaningful, person-centred care in a four-bedroom home.

• Training provided to succeed in care roles
• Strong communication and empathy required
• Teamwork and reliability are important

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines including cooking, personal care and household tasks
• Encourage participation in hobbies and community activities
• Monitor wellbeing and respond to individual needs
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with the care team

Job description

Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team

Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant is ideal, but not essential. If you're new to care and passionate about helping others live independently, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
