Job summary

Norse Care in Dereham is seeking a Care Support Worker to help service users with personal care, promoting independence and dignity in line with a person-centred plan. The role is based at St Nicholas House, Dereham, with 26.13 hours per week and potential for extra shifts.

The role offers funded accredited courses, excellent career progression and a supportive environment. DBS check is required; sponsorship is not provided.

Care Support Worker –Dereham

£13.81 per hour (Days) + enhancements

26.13hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

A day in the life:

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.

Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

St Nicholas House is our residential care home in Dereham, West Norfolk. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, including specialist care and support for people living with dementia.
