Job summary

Norse Care’s Mountfield home in Norwich is seeking a Care Support Worker to assist with personal care and support tasks, helping residents maintain independence and dignity under a person-centred care plan.

You will join a friendly team, respond to call bells, participate in wellbeing activities, and help create a safe, engaging environment while pursuing funded training opportunities and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable or eagerness to learn.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Willingness to complete funded courses and training.

Job Description

£13.81 per hour (Days) + enhancements

39 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

A Day In The Life

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.

Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

About Mountfield

Mountfield is a private home operated by Norse Care for self-funders. Our recently fully refurbished residential care home is in the suburbs of North Norwich, located in New Catton. In close reach of Old Catton, Hellesdon and Sprowston. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, specialising in care and support for people living with dementia.
