Sanctuary Supported Living in Leicester is hiring a Care and Support Assistant to help people with disabilities to live more independently. The role involves supporting daily routines, personal care, and community access, with emphasis on dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care is preferred but not required.
• Caring, patient and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
• Good organisational skills.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence.
• Create and follow care plans as a key worker.
• Provide personalised care and safe medication management.
• Assist with daily routines and community access.
• Promote positive culture and reduce social isolation.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow risk assessments.
