Job summary
Sanctuary Supported Living in Leicestershire is seeking a Care and Support Assistant to provide personalised care to adults with learning and physical disabilities at 41 Ryder Road, Leicester. Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience delivering personal care is helpful but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential.
- Work as a key worker to help individuals create and follow care and support plans.
- Provide personalised care, including personal care and safe medication management.
- Assist customers with daily routines such as getting up, washed and dressed.
- Support customers to access the community including shops, cafes, friends and appointments.
- Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation.
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment and follow safe practices including risk assessments.
