Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Leicestershire is seeking a Care and Support Assistant to provide personalised care to adults with learning and physical disabilities at 41 Ryder Road, Leicester. You’ll work as part of a compassionate team dedicated to empowering individuals to live independently and stay connected with the community.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential.
• Work as a key worker to help individuals create and follow care and support plans.
• Provide personalised care, including personal care and safe medication management.
• Assist customers with daily routines such as getting up, washed and dressed.
• Support customers to access the community including shops, cafes, friends and appointments.
• Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment and follow safe practices including risk assessments.

Your role
