Job summary

North East Autism Society is seeking a Care Support Assistant to support adults in residential care and supported living in Durham. You will help with daily tasks, accompany outings, and foster independence while building trusting relationships within a small, family-style home.

No prior care experience is required; we welcome compassionate, eager learners who can adapt to different needs and become a valued part of a caring team. A comprehensive induction and ongoing training are provided.

About the role:

As a Care Support Assistant with NEAS, you will be key to supporting adults in residential care and independent supported living services to live their very best lives.

Every person we support is different, and every day in this role is different too. As part of a caring, compassionate team, you will help with everything from day-to-day tasks around the house, to outings and trips into the community, helping the adults you care for gain independence, while building strong, trusting relationships with them.
