Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd in Malvern is hiring a Care and Support Assistant to join Cartwright Court. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week at £13.26–£14.56 per hour, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

UK-based applicants only; sponsorship not available. You will work at one location, supporting residents with daily tasks, social activities and wellbeing, promoting independence and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assisting with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promoting independence, dignity, and community engagement.
• Supporting with individual care packages, including supporting with personal care

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.
