McCarthy & Stone Ltd in Knebworth is seeking a Care and Support Assistant at Lowe House. This part-time role places all residents in one location, offering a chance to make a real difference without travel between calls.

You will work a mix of early and late shifts, including alternate weekends, 16 hours per week. Pay ranges from £14.12 to £15.42 per hour, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in UK health and social care is preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks (appointments, light cleaning, laundry, shopping).
• Support social activities and wellbeing routines.
