Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd in Borehamwood is seeking a Care and Support Assistant for Goldwyn House. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week across early and late shifts, including alternate weekends, with pay of £14.12–£15.42 per hour and enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

You will support residents in a single location, help with daily tasks, activities and wellbeing, and promote independence. Fully paid training for Level 2 or 3 in Adult Care, pension, life insurance and 24/7 wellbeing

Qualifications

• 1+ year UK health and social care experience preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with personal care as part of individual care packages.
