Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is hiring a Care and Support Assistant for Goldwyn House in Borehamwood. This part-time role involves working 16 hours weekly on early and late shifts, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

You will help residents with daily tasks, encourage activity, and support independence in a single-location home for the over-70s.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with individual care packages, including personal care.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.
