Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a part-time Care Assistant at Watson Place, Chipping Norton. You will support residents in a single location with daily tasks, social activities, and wellbeing routines, helping older adults live independently.

Shifts include early and late hours, with alternate weekends. On-site role with a focus on compassionate, dependable care and community engagement in a premier retirement development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in UK health and social care preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Living within commuting distance of the development.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assisting with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promoting independence, dignity, and community engagement.
• Supporting with individual care packages.
