Job summary

Visiting Angels Northern Ireland is looking for a Care Supervisor to join our Belfast leadership team. You will supervise caregivers, develop staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care across our client base.

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will conduct client assessments, create care plans, support inductions, and help maintain RQIA standards. A driving licence and UK work status are essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in domiciliary or community care.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Registered with NISCC or eligible upon appointment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care planning and risk assessment.
• Confident communicator with leadership presence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support caregivers with observations and 1:1 supervision.
• Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and create care plans and risk assessments.
• Carry out client courtesy calls and respond to feedback.
• Support new caregivers through induction and ongoing training.
• Act as a key contact between clients, families, caregivers and management.
• Ensure compliance with RQIA standards, safeguarding and policies.
• Participate in the on-call rota on a rotational basis.
• Escalate concerns and drive continuous improvement.
