Job summary

McCarthy Stone is hiring a Care Supervisor at Watson Place, Chipping Norton. This part-time role offers no travel and focuses on leading a small care team to support residents in a Retirement Living PLUS development.

You’ll work day and sleep-in shifts on a rolling two-week rota, with competitive hourly rates and extra sleep shift and weekend uplifts, plus funded Level 3 training, holiday entitlement, pension, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experienced in care or support work (1+ year preferred).
• Level 3 Adult Health & Social Care (minimum of Level 2 Health and Social Care and willing to upskill).
• Leadership experience – you’ve supported or supervised a team.
• Organised, compassionate, and community-minded.

Care Supervisor – No Travel, Just Meaningful Impact

Watson Place, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

Part Time ¦ 33.5 hour per week

£16.25/hr (day shifts) ¦ £12.85/hr (sleep-in nights) + additional supplemental £6.81 per sleep shift and £1/hr weekend uplift where applicable.

Watson Place this gorgeous new Retirement Living PLUS development comprises of retirement apartments for the over 70’s. There is a chef run bistro, a luxurious lounge with free Wi‑Fi and a large, landscaped garden.

A day shift will start from 8.45am and finish at 4.30pm.

The late shift with Sleep-in will start at 4.15pm and finishes at 9.00am and you will be working alternate weekends.

Our Care Supervisors sleep between 11:00pm and 07:00am providing only emergency support to our homeowners throughout that period.

You will be working on a rolling 2 week rota, as outlined below:

Week 1:

• Monday - 4.15pm to 9am
• Saturday & Sunday – 08:45am to 4.15pm

Week 2:

• Friday 4.15pm to 9am

What You’ll Do:

Pay & Shift Details:

• £16.25 / hour day rate
• £12.85 / hour sleeping night rate + additional supplemental £6.81 per sleep shift.
• + £1/hour weekend enhancement (midnight Friday to midnight Sunday)
