Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a part-time Care Supervisor in Beccles to lead a compassionate care team at Foundry Place. The role avoids travel between clients and focuses on meaningful impact for residents over 70 in a retirement living community.

Atypical shifts run from 4.15pm to 9.00am with alternate weekends; supervisors sleep from 11:00pm to 07:00am providing emergency support only.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work (1+ year preferred).
• Level 3 Adult Health & Social Care (minimum Level 2 and willing to upskill).
• Leadership experience – you’ve supported or supervised a team.
• Organised, compassionate and community-minded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate the Care & Support team.
• Coordinate resident care plans and ensure compliance with high standards.
• Assist with wellbeing-focused activities and day-to-day care needs.

Care Supervisor – No Travel, Just Meaningful Impact!

Foundry Place, Gosford Road, Beccles, Suffolk

Part Time • 33.5 hour per week

£15.24/hr (day shifts) • £12.24/hr (sleep-in nights) + additional supplemental £6.81 per sleep shift and £1/hr weekend uplift where applicable.

Foundry Place this gorgeous new Retirement Living PLUS development comprises of 55 one and two bedroom retirement apartments for the over 70’s. There is a chef run bistro, a luxurious lounge with free Wi-Fi and a large, landscaped garden.

A typical shift starts from 4.15pm and finish's at 9.00am, working alternate weekends.

Our Care Supervisors sleep between 11:00pm and 07:00am providing only emergency support to our homeowners throughout that period.

Pay & Shift Details

• + £1/hour weekend enhancement (midnight Friday to midnight Sunday)

About You

• Experienced in care or support work (1+ year preferred)
