Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Care Supervisor to support a residential community in Whitley Bay. You will oversee the Care and Support team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming environment, supporting independence, and promoting wellbeing. A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred; L2 applicants may qualify with progression opportunities.

Role Highlights

As a Care Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively and you will uphold our commitment to high-quality care. You will support the management of a thriving community of independent older adults, including overseeing the Care and Support team. Your role will include ensuring their safety, coordinating activities, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

About You

• You are warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. (Those with L2 are welcome to apply but will need toundertake their L3.)
• You are eager to take on responsibilities, promote community spirit, and improve the wellbeing of our residents.
• You will have previous experience of managing team members.
