Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking a Care Services Partner to provide a single point of contact for care home customers and lead the operational running of the care services pharmacy on site with the store team. You will partner with local stakeholders to deliver outstanding service and report to the store manager.

Your role includes planning workloads, resolving care home queries, and supporting dispensing duties while promoting Boots in the local community.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent) required.
• Experience solving problems in healthcare with customer focus.

• Plan Care Services workload to ensure top service by the team.
• Collaborate with around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to retain and grow customers.
• Resolve queries and issues from care homes.
• Assist with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Work with Regional Business Manager to promote Boots in the local community and help sign up new business.
• Contribute across pharmacy areas including the healthcare counter.

About the role

As a Care Services Partner, your job is to provide a single point of contact for care home customers ensuring excellent customer care is always provided whilst leading the operational running of the care services pharmacy. You will work in partnership with local stakeholders to enable delivery of this outstanding level of service to care services users. You will work onsite and report to the store manager.

Your priorities will include:

• Planning the Care Services workload to ensure that your team provides the very best service possible.
• You will work in partnership with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care to enable retention of existing homes and growth of new customers.
• You will resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
• Supporting with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Working with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in the sign-up of new business.
• You will work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter

What you’ll need to have

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for your customers.

It would be great if you also have

• NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.
