Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Care Services Partner to provide a single point of contact for care home customers while leading the operational running of the care services pharmacy. You will work onsite and report to the store manager, coordinating with a network of around 40 care homes, GP surgeries and store teams to deliver exceptional care.

The role includes dispensing duties support, problem resolution for care homes, and representing Boots in the local community as an ambassador.

Qualifications

  • NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent).
  • Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Planning the Care Services workload to ensure the team provides the best service.
  • Work with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver care and grow new customers.
  • Resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
  • Support with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
  • Work with the Regional Business Manager to be an ambassador for Boots in the local community.
  • Work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.

About The Role

Your Priorities Will Include

  • You will resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
  • Supporting with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
  • Working with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in the sign-up of new business.
  • You will work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter
What You’ll Need To Have
  • NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for your customers.

  • A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.
