Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Care Services Partner to provide a single point of contact for care home customers and to lead the operational running of the care services pharmacy. You will work onsite and report to the store manager, coordinating with local stakeholders to deliver outstanding service to care home users.

You will manage a network of care homes, support dispensing duties, resolve issues, and help grow the care services business in partnership with the Regional Business Manager.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent).
• Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for customers.
• NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent) would be beneficial.
• A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan the Care Services workload to ensure the team provides the best service.
• Partner with ~40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to retain and grow customers.
• Resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
• Assist with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Collaborate with Regional Business Manager to be an ambassador for Boots within the local community and help sign up new business.
• Work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.

Your Priorities Will Include

• Planning the Care Services workload to ensure that your team provides the very best service possible.
• You will work in partnership with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care to enable retention of existing homes and growth of new customers.
• You will resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
• Supporting with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Working with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in the sign-up of new business.
• You will work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.

What You’ll Need To Have
