Derby/Nottingham Care Company is seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth in the care sector. This hybrid role requires building strong relationships with Local Authorities and care stakeholders to expand the company's portfolio.

You will identify new opportunities, generate referrals, report on pipelines and collaborate with operations, quality and finance teams to meet ambitious targets. Previous care-sector BD experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Care sector experience is essential.
• Experience as a Business Development Manager or Customer Relations Manager.
• Proven business development and lead generation experience.
• Excellent relationship-building with Local Authority and care partners.
• Commercial awareness and ability to meet targets.
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with Local Authority and ICB commissioners, housing partners, case managers and other stakeholders.
• Generate referral pipelines.
• Maintain pipeline information and report KPIs.
• Collaborate with operations, quality and finance teams.
• Manage relationships and performance against targets.
• Support tender and proposal opportunities.
