Job summary

Avanti Homecare is seeking a Care Scheduler to coordinate across our Ripley and Ilkeston branches, ensuring rotas are prepared in advance and client care is delivered smoothly. The role is office-based with travel between branches as needed.

You will work closely with Senior Care Coordinators, manage schedules, maintain accurate records and respond to changes in client needs, holidays, and sickness. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with travel expenses paid.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating people, schedules or services in busy environments.
• Strong administration, record-keeping and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Comfort with using digital systems to manage information and diaries.

Responsibilities

• Work across Ripley and Ilkeston branch offices to deliver rota continuity.
• Produce and maintain rotas two weeks in advance with seniors.
• Use systems and rotas to ensure reliable information for the team.
• Respond to sickness, holidays and last-minute client changes.
• Support care planning administration and onboarding of new packages.
• Cover care calls during office hours and participate in paid on-call rota.
• Escalate concerns when needed and maintain client records.
