Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Service Quality Manager to support care services across Weymouth, Bournemouth and Milford on Sea. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, days 9am-5pm, with a salary of £55,000 per annum DOE and a generous benefits package.

The successful candidate will audit and improve quality and compliance across residential, nursing, homecare and specialist services, travel between sites, and drive continuous improvement with managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, compliance, auditing or senior operational role within adult social care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory framework.
• Experience auditing care services and monitoring improvement plans.
• Ability to travel regularly between services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality, compliance and service audits and identify improvement areas.
• Review care documentation, governance systems and evidence of regulatory compliance.
• Help services develop robust action plans after audits or inspections.
• Work with managers to embed improvements rather than only identifying changes.
• Monitor outstanding actions and challenge progress when needed.
• Prepare for or respond to CQC inspections and other regulator activity.
• Identify emerging risks, themes and trends and escalate appropriately.
• Provide practical advice, coaching and guidance to managers and teams.
• Follow up improvements to ensure changes are embedded and sustained.
• Promote a culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
