Qualifications

• Maintain the practice appointments system and process appointment requests.
• Register patients for on-line services and handle data entry per procedures.
• Triage calls and signpost to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Record blood pressure readings and keep accurate patient notes.

Responsibilities

• Direct visitors to the correct place and ensure sign-in/out.
• Process repeat and acute prescription requests from patients, pharmacies and online.
• Take home-visit details and pass to the appropriate staff per guidelines.
• Handle urgent calls according to Practice guidelines and maintain tidy reception area.
• Provide clerical support including photocopying, scanning and data entry.
