Job summary

Larwood Health Partnership is recruiting Care Navigators to join a busy GP practice on a permanent basis. The role requires at least 2 years in a customer service setting and strong communication, IT and confidentiality skills.

You will manage reception duties, direct patients to the right clinician, and handle appointments, prescriptions, and queries across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• 2 years experience in a customer service-based role or in a busy, pressurised office.
• Experience in reception work and General Practice is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a reception service for patients and visitors, handling bookings and queries.
• Receive and route incoming calls to the right clinician or service promptly.
• Navigate patients to appropriate services, via face-to-face, phone, or online systems.
• Offer emergency advice following established protocols, e.g., chest pain protocol.
• Undertake relevant administration processes and document handling.
