Job summary

Willowbrook Homecare in Lytham is seeking a proactive Care Manager to support the Registered Manager and lead a skilled team in delivering high-quality homecare services for clients to live safely and independently at home.

You will ensure compliance with policies, CQC standards, and local contracts, while driving continuous improvement, staff training, and efficient rostering. The role requires leadership, strategic thinking and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Hold or be working towards Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a manager in domiciliary care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC inspection approach.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring care staff.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager at the Lytham branch to deliver Willowbrook’s high-quality service.
• Help ensure services are delivered in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining positive workplace culture and ensuring efficient referrals and rosters.
• Coordinate care plans, risk assessments and DBS checks with relevant teams.
• Monitor training records, supervision, appraisals and staff absence in line with procedures.
• Oversee on-call rota planning and liaise with Head Office on timesheets and mileage.
